Política de reembolso

We have a 30-day return policy (15% restocking fee applies), which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for unused, new condition merchandise.  Missing components, such as wire harnesses, bluetooth module, hardware, controller back plates, will be assessed a replacement cost based on current website pricing.  Special orders or direct ship items are not eligible for return—sales are final.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at econiccycles@yahoo.com for return authorization and shipping info. Return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed upon by E-Conic Cycles.

If your return meets the return criteria, shipping instructions will follow.  Non-defective returns postage is solely the responsibility of the consumer.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.

Damages / Issues / Chargebacks
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and find a suitable resolution.  If applicable, we will coordinate any warranty repairs with the manufacturer.  If the consumer does not indicate IN WRITING that an issue exists and proceeds to file a chargeback, the transaction will be considered "friendly" fraud and E-Conic will pursue legal remedy.  E-Conic must be given the opportunity to assess and resolve the issue.


Exceptions / non-returnable / non-refundable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or refunded, like custom products (such as special orders), batteries, and controllers installed on bikes with a bypassed BMS or high powered pouch cells. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item PRIOR to purchase.  All controllers are bench tested prior to leaving the factory.  Miss installation, improper tuning, other faulty equipment creating product failure, or equipment connected to BYPASSED batteries will not be eligible for return / refund.  If you are unfamiliar with electronics, hire a professional installer.  These are high voltage products for experienced installers that could present a danger to your health or property if installed / tuned by an inexperienced / unlicensed installer.  


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.  Any applicable credit will be applied once the returned item has been inspected.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and update you as to our findings. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 7 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.  If more than 10 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at econiccycles@yahoo.com so that we may investigate.
